The works of Drawing from Desire exploit the subversive potential of
architectural drawings to express subjective content.

Anna von Mertens
Anna von Mertens uses the site of the bed as a way to translate the
exterior world to a personal one, to transform abstract pattern into
a sense of intimate space. Topographical maps are hand stitched onto
quilts—the process of making implies a narrative of the hands.
